Deana lives out in the middle of nowhere where the dry wind howls and the fields grow. Deana has lived in the Southeast, Midwest, and Western United States.
But that's not all. She's climbed mountains, trekked swamps, gotten lost in forests, flown across oceans and deserts, endured endless journeys into darkness, suffered cramping pain from incessant tapping, put out fires, fought great battles, dug trenches, gathered powerful herbs, performed alchemy, created new life, vowed undying devotion, and mourned beloveds. Only when it all happened, it felt a lot more regular. Data entry, cooking, gardening, getting married, etc.
Which is what she likes about writing romance. Everything is more dramatic, more interesting...just MORE.
